What if you’re doing the things, but nothing is changing?

I know many people who start making changes in their health and fitness journeys.

They are going to the gym several times a week. They are eating healthy Monday through Friday. They are consciously making better choices, and it is GREAT! Yet, they aren’t seeing the results… why not?

Here are some reasons people do not see the results even if they are doing the damn thing:

  • Protein goals are not known or not hit consistently

  • Weights and intensity of exercises don’t change

  • They try to out work their diets

  • They do well all week and have a free for all the entire weekend

Let me tell you, I spent YEARS in the vicious cycle of eating like a bird every week day, an hour of cardio daily, eating all the pizza and burgers and sweets on the weekends, and never being consistent in a healthier way.

Once I started to:

  • Learn the importance of balancing my diet ALL WEEK,

  • Hit my protein goals EVERY DAY of the week,

  • Incorporate weight lifting and progressive overload instead of hours of cardio each week,

  • Creating a consistent sleep schedule,

I saw my body change DRAMATICALLY… and in very positive ways. Also, I was feeling good inside, not just outside.

I know it is difficult to make changes. We see so much information on social media, and we aren’t sure what is the best information to follow. I get it. But if you start to make the simple changes of balancing what you eat all week, hitting your protein targets, weight lift a few days a week, and actually SLEEP, you’d be amazed at the physical and mental changes you see and feel.

If you aren’t sure how to do this on your own, you can reach out and I will schedule a 15-minute consultation call to see if we are a good fit to help you with your health and wellness goals.

Love, Ashley
